Today’s feature is “Hama no Sato,” a popular whale cuisine restaurant in Chikura.
Located at the southern tip of Chiba, Chikura is known for its whale dishes. Their specialty, “Whale Cutlet,” is juicy and tender, marinated in a special sauce.
The restaurant has counter seating, tables, and traditional Japanese-style floor seating—perfect for families.
In addition to whale dishes, the menu includes tempura bowls, sashimi, and a wide selection of sake and shochu.
The whale cutlet is flavorful enough to enjoy without extra condiments, but tartar sauce and mustard are available. It’s definitely worth a repeat visit.
